Thank you for visiting VANCA CRAFT, INC.. Since 1890, we have been dedicated to creating unique, 3D leather accessories using traditional Japanese techniques passed down through four generations. Please read the following policy carefully to understand our procedures regarding returns and refunds.
2. The Beauty of Natural Leather (Terms of Quality)
Our products are handcrafted from 100% natural, full-grain leather. Unlike mass-produced goods, our leather is not coated with low-quality plastic films or stamped with artificial textures to mimic perfection.
- Natural Marks: Things like natural spots, slight variations in grain, and small markings (Natural Marks) may be present. These are not defects; they are the "fingerprints" of nature and a hallmark of high-quality organic material.

- Artisanship: Every piece is meticulously shaped and assembled by hand in our workshop in Chiba, Japan. Because each item is a one-of-a-kind work of art, subtle differences in shape or finish are normal and celebrated as part of our craftsmanship.
- Quality Guarantee: Rest assured, every product undergoes multiple quality checks by our master craftspeople before it leaves our business. We will never send a product that does not meet our 130-year standard of excellence.
3. Returns for Customer Convenience
Due to the unique nature of our handmade products—and particularly because we offer Free Personalization (custom names/messages) on all orders—we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. This includes reasons such as "change of mind," "ordered by mistake," or "product looks different from the screen image".
Please double-check all order details and personalization text before completing your purchase.
4. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you believe there is a significant defect (such as broken hardware or a personalization error made by us), or if you received the wrong item, we are happy to provide a solution.
- Notification Period: You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your product.

Make a refund request - Resolution: Once the case is reviewed and deemed eligible, we will offer a full refund or a replacement.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Store Error: If a return is necessary due to our error or a genuine product defect, we will cover the full cost of return shipping.
- Authorized Exceptions: In the rare event that an exception is made for other return reasons, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including the original shipping fee and the cost of returning the item to our workshop in Japan.
6. Cancellation Policy
We take pride in our rapid dispatch system to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible.
- Before Dispatch: You may request a cancellation as long as the item has not yet been shipped (usually within 24 hours of ordering).
- After Dispatch: Once an order has been handed to the carrier, it cannot be canceled, redirected, or refunded.
